About This Exhibition

The Brattle Theatre has been Harvard Square's cultural anchor since 1953, when it launched the Humphrey Bogart revival that spread across America. This single-screen independent cinema specializes in repertory programming, foreign films, documentaries, and curated series. The theater launched "Casablanca Night" which became a national phenomenon. Now a nonprofit, the Brattle represents the best of independent cinema culture and regularly hosts filmmaker Q&As and special events.
