Jaho Coffee Roaster & Wine Bar
Coffee Shop · Central Square · Since 2005
Chef-owner: Anil Mezini · Opened 2005
Jaho was founded August 15, 2005 by Anil Mezini (then in his early twenties) at Pickering Wharf in Salem, continuing Salem's centuries-old trade in coffee and tea. Today Jaho roasts for cafés in Boston, Cambridge, and Tokyo; the Central Square location stays open late as a wine bar, a format Mezini helped prototype at the Salem original.
$15–$30 per person
Coffee by day, wine bar by night. The space is beautiful - high ceilings, exposed beams, Central Square industrial chic. Great for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The kind of place where you can spend an entire day.
